and Bursaries
At Bethany, we are committed to supporting learning, growth, and professional development across our communities. Through scholarships and bursaries, Bethany recognizes individuals who are building skills, advancing their education, and contributing to meaningful work in care, housing, and community services. Our scholarships and awards program is made possible through the generous support of donors to the Bethany Care Foundation.
Applications for the 2026/2027 academic year open April 1, 2026 and close June 30, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified in early August 2026.
Bethany Care Foundation Scholarships
Bethany scholarships are available to individuals enrolled in health care aide, nursing, health leadership, or allied health post-secondary programs. These scholarships, with a value of $2,000 each, support students pursuing studies during the 2026/2027 academic year and are intended to help reduce financial barriers while encouraging learning and professional growth.
Bethany Care Founders’ Bursary
The Bethany Care Founders’ Bursary recognizes the academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement of post-secondary students who are children of Bethany employees.
Each year, two bursaries of $2,000 are awarded to support students pursuing full-time post-secondary or university studies.
