Crane Installation

Road Work Starting April 14
City of Calgary street tie-in work near the Bethany Calgary site is scheduled to begin on April 14, 2025.
Construction Update
Drilling for the retaining wall piles has begun along the north property line and is expected to take approximately 2-3 months to complete.
Groundbreaking Ceremony on October 15
On October 15, 2024, Bethany officially broke ground on the new Bethany Calgary care home, a significant step forward in the two-decade redevelopment journey.
Construction to Begin – Oct 2024
Construction for the new Bethany Calgary care home is set to begin in mid-October, with work taking place Monday through Saturday during daytime hours.
Bethany Neighbour Update – Sept 2024
In early September, the demolition of Bethany’s former corporate office, located on the northeast corner of the Bethany Calgary site, will commence.
Development Permit Update
On May 27, 2024, The City of Calgary approved the Bethany Calgary development permit.
Funding Announced for the Redevelopment of Bethany Calgary
In April 2023, former Health Minister Jason Copping announced the Government of Alberta’s funding commitment towards the redevelopment of Bethany Care Society’s Bethany Calgary care centre.
