Bethany offers three types of independent living housing:
Rent-Geared-to-Income
Rent-Geared-to-Income apartments for seniors are homes where rent is set at 30% of your household income. Bethany is proud to be part of YYC Housing for Seniors — a partnership of four of Calgary’s leading seniors housing organizations. With YYC Housing for Seniors, you submit one straightforward application to be considered for housing with all four organizations.
Affordable Housing
Affordable housing units are self-contained suites offering seniors a private and independent living space at 80–90% of the average rent for a comparable suite in the city.
Life Lease
Bethany’s life lease provides adults 55+ with the security of a long-term home without full ownership. Residents pay an upfront fee and a monthly maintenance fee, enjoying spacious, well-appointed apartments within a welcoming, community-focused environment. Bethany’s life leases also include a guaranteed buyback option, offering peace of mind if you choose to move.
