Laura Hartwell is a certified independent board director (ICD.D).  Laura was a member of IBM Canada’s Leadership team until her retirement in 2023.  She has over 30 years of executive management experience anchored on the intersection of technology, business strategy, and governance. She has expertise in strategic planning, acquisitions, succession planning, technology initiatives, capital deployment and human capital management.

She currently serves as an Independent Director of public company, Mullen Group, where she sits on the Audit and Compensation, Nomination & Governance Committees and of private company, RJC Engineers where she serves on the HR & Compensation Committee.

Laura is actively engaged in community and leadership initiatives that advance women’s leadership and is a member of the International Women’s Forum.
