How to Apply

Placement into publicly funded care is managed by Assisted Living Alberta. The process begins with an assessment through your local Continuing Care Access Centre.

Set in a country-like setting in the foothills town of Cochrane, Bethany Cochrane offers a peaceful environment while remaining connected to the local community. Residents enjoy access to nearby amenities including the historic All Saints Chapel as well as a variety of social and recreational programs.

Bethany Cochrane provides care for individuals with complex health needs who are unable to remain at home or in a supportive living setting. Residents have access to shared spaces throughout the home including a memory room, dining room with nutritious meals, and a Great Room that can be reserved for private gatherings. Visiting pets are also welcome, and a dedicated spiritual space is available for residents, families, employees, and volunteers.

A wide range of social and recreation activities support residents in maintaining mobility, cognitive abilities, and overall well-being, while also providing opportunities for fun and connection. Many programs are supported by volunteers and family members. Residents also have access to a wheelchair-accessible bus for outings in the community.

Bethany Cochrane provides 24-hour nursing and personal care. Employees from a range of disciplines work together to support residents through individualized care plans that focus on dignity, comfort, and overall well-being.
