Bethany Celebrates 2025 Service Excellence Finalists

At Bethany, Service Excellence is more than a program or annual event. It is our way of being, reflected in the everyday actions, compassion, leadership, and care that help bring our mission of Creating Caring Communities to life.

Earlier this month, Bethany employees, leaders, board members, and community partners gathered at Bethany Calgary for the 2025 Service Excellence Awards Ceremony, an evening dedicated to recognizing employees who go above and beyond in service to residents, families, colleagues, and community.

This year, 138 employees were nominated through 195 nominations, each sharing stories of compassion, teamwork, leadership, innovation, dignity, and meaningful human connection across Bethany communities.

The evening celebrated employees from a wide range of roles and locations across the organization, including nursing, health care aides, leadership, volunteer services, donor relations, human resources, and reception. Together, the nominations reflected the many ways Service Excellence is lived out across Bethany each and every day.

Throughout the ceremony, stories were shared highlighting employees who demonstrated exceptional compassion, supported families through difficult moments, strengthened workplace safety, mentored new team members, fostered belonging, and continuously improved the resident and tenant experience.
