Bethany Care Society Discontinues New Resident Applications for Supportive Living Program in Airdrie

Bethany Care Society announced today that it will no longer be accepting new resident applications for supportive living in its Arbor Manor community in Airdrie, Alberta. “This decision was based upon the lack of financial viability of this program, as well as the newer supportive living options now available to seniors who wish to live in Airdrie,” shares Jennifer McCue, President and CEO of Bethany Care Society. “Simply put, we can no longer remain competitive in the local marketplace.”

Bethany Airdrie will continue to operate its long-term care center. The pending changes will not impact long-term care residents. “Our supportive living program will remain open to support current residents,” continues McCue. “At Bethany, we strive to foster an environment dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our residents, their families, to each other and our community partners.”

Bethany wishes to thank the residents of Airdrie who have called Arbor Manor their home over the three decades it has been part of the community. “We sincerely appreciate the support of our many volunteers and staff who give their time and talents for our residents,” adds McCue.

As Bethany moves through this time of transition, the organization will explore new opportunities for community partners and individuals within in its long-term care program. Those with questions are encouraged to contact: askBethanyAirdrie@bethanyseniors.com.
